Rade Vujisić was born in 1929 in Stitarica. He graduated in Economics. Besides his work in banking, construction, education and mining where he had highly important role, for over three decades he worked as journalist. He was news correspondent and associate of many newspapers and magazines, such as: news correspondent of “ Omladinski pokret”, “Ferijalac”, “Pobjeda”, “Prosvjetni rad”, “Komunist”, “Susret”, newspapers of Montenegrin emigrants; “Udruzeni rad”, “Zadrugar”,newspapers of CCRN from Bosnia and Hercegovina; “Oslobodjenje” from Sarajevo, “Glasnik”, “Zorka” from Sabac, and occasionally he wrote for “Politika” and “Vecernje novine”. He was chief editor of newspapers “Podbisce” from Mojkovac and for almost three decades he was news correspondent for “Radio Crna Gora”. He collaborated with numerous magazines, such as: “Dom i porodica”, “Nasa zena”, “Galaksija”, “Poljoprivredni kalendar” from Belgrade, “Odzivi” from Bijelo Polje and “Informator” from Zagreb.

Besides journalism he was also involved in literature. He published: “ Pot marigold fading by the wintry waters”, “ Stitarica at centuries’ crossroads”, “ Vujisic Brotherhood”, “Devil’s glade”, “Tales from Tara wathershed “ and “Shall no one hear my words”.
He was highly involved in social and political work in every municipal forum besides CKJ ( Central Yugoslav Comity). He was also involved in work of autonomous organs of workers’ organizations.
In respect of his work and creation, he was awarded numerous social rewards, lauds and prizes. He was a member of Yugoslav Journalists’ Association and a member of Montenegrin Literates.
He died on January 25 and was buried at the village cemetery in Štitarica, Mojkovac.
